Fixed-fee company secretarial support

Company secretarial support that keeps your limited company safe

CSec Limited provides friendly, fixed-fee company secretarial support for limited companies in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. We handle Companies House filings, statutory registers and changes so you can focus on running your business.

Join CSec for £30 per month

We can even set up your limited company for free – the CSec service is free for formations and the Companies House fee still applies¹. Every limited company should have CSec. It’s a no brainer.

Why your company needs CSec

Most small limited companies do not keep their statutory books and registers properly, or they are not aware of what is required.

Failing to file on time or keep your records in line with company law and Companies House requirements can lead to penalties, your company being struck off and a real risk that any remaining assets (including your bank account and property) are treated as “bona vacantia” and claimed by the state.

CSec is run by an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (Companies House authorised agent) who takes the Companies House burden off your shoulders.

Our core values

These values shape how we support limited companies and new incorporations in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland.

Plain language compliance

We explain Companies House requirements in clear, everyday language so you always understand what is happening and why.

Fixed-fee fairness

One fixed monthly fee of £30 covers your core company secretarial needs. No surprise bills for routine filings and changes.

Proactive protection

We monitor deadlines and changes so you do not miss confirmation statements or important updates that could put your company at risk.

Authorised and trusted

CSec is run by an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (Companies House authorised agent) used to dealing with tighter ID, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing requirements.

What’s included for £30 per month

CSec’s fixed-fee service includes the core company secretarial work every responsible limited company needs to stay compliant with Companies House and company law.

Company formations

Confirmation statements

We prepare and file your annual confirmation statements on time so your company’s public record is accurate and up-to-date.

Director / PSC / shareholder changes

We handle appointments, resignations and updates to directors, People with Significant Control and shareholders so your records match reality.

Shares and capital changes

We manage share allotments, transfers and re-classifications, and update Companies House with any changes to your share capital.

Statutory registers

We maintain your statutory registers so you comply with company law, not just Companies House filing deadlines.

Name changes & restructures

We take care of company name changes and related documentation so the process is smooth and correctly documented.

Strike-offs & restorations

We support voluntary strike-offs and, where appropriate, company restorations, helping you understand the options and required steps.

One fixed monthly fee of £30 covers these core company secretarial services. Companies House fees and any exceptional third-party costs are separate – we will always explain these clearly in advance.

¹ Companies House sets and collects its own statutory fees. Where Companies House fees apply, these are always payable by the client in addition to CSec’s fixed monthly fee.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions from directors and business owners about company secretarial support and Companies House.

Why do I need a company secretarial service?

Company law and Companies House rules require your company to keep statutory registers and file certain forms and confirmations on time. A company secretarial service helps you meet those obligations so you avoid penalties, strike-off and unnecessary stress.

What happens if I do not file on time?

Late filings can lead to fines and warnings. If problems are not corrected, Companies House can move to strike your company off the register. There is a risk that any remaining assets (including your bank account and property) could be treated as “bona vacantia” and claimed by the state.

Is the Companies House fee included?

CSec’s service is free for company formations when you join us, but the Companies House fee still applies¹ and is paid separately. The fixed monthly fee covers our ongoing company secretarial work.

Who is CSec suitable for?

CSec is suitable for any limited company in Scotland, England, Wales or Ireland and anyone planning to form a limited company, from start-ups to established businesses, who wants friendly, plain language support with Companies House and statutory records.
